Government Approved Model House

The Government of Nepal (GON) has published 8 different earthquake resistant model houses for rural areas of Nepal. GON had also circulated new Building rules last Asoj
after the Earthquake of 7.9 Richter Scale. The earthquake victim can build one of the 8 Government Approved model house.

The Government had announced the Aid of Rs 2,00,000 (2 Lakh) for each earthquake victim whose house were completely destroyed by the massive earthquake. The government has stated that this aid can be used only for building houses as per the 8 government approved model house  In this approved design, there are 2 model house that are one storey and other 6 are of 2 storey.

RCC Slabs are used in this house. And this is the most expensive government approved model house that has been designed.  And for all house design Government will provide 3 Lakh of Aid and extra expenses should be borne by the owner.
